Enjoy sport fishing in clear mountain waters.

Fishing season: July – September

Along with our fishing guide, to fishing waters located near Abisko.

We fish for Arctic char, salmon trout and grayling with fly fish rods.  We will wade over crystal clear mountain streams and wander through wonderful wilderness terrain. Your guide will help you to find the easiest routes between different fishing areas.

At the end of the day we return to the base camp for a wonderful dinner. When it is time to rest for the night, we do so in large Laplander tents.

Wild animal adventure in the Abisko Mountains

During the next few days will you visit Abisko Wilderness Adventures. With an experienced guide you scout wild animals. You travel out to the wilderness by snowmobile, and when animal tracks appear you can follow them on skis. You scout wolverine and lynx.

In February and March we scout in the daytime and in April and May we also scout at night.

Conference Arrangements

Abisko Wilderness Adventures can offer you a very different kind of conference arrangement.

The conference facility is situated in the mountain region of Lapland. This location offers a stress free environment where you can work quietly as a group. Your conference can be combined with many different activities like hiking, fishing or hunting.

End your day’s activities with a relaxing sauna bath and a refreshing dip in a running stream.

We adapt all arrangements to meet your requirements and desires.

Abisko Wilderness Adventures, located 100 km northwest of Kiruna, arranges exclusive activities, which include all you can wish for service, nature experiences and adventure. We can arrange activities for groups or for one. Each adventure is lead by an experienced, professional guide. We take you to unmarked wilderness locations in Swedish Lapland.

Fishing season: March-May


Together with a knowledgeable fishing guide you can travel by snowmobile to some of the fish rich lakes in the Abisko area. You can spend the day fishing or if you desire, takes short trips by snowmobile or skis around the areas near the camp. Take pleasure in the miles of beautiful country at your own pace.

Every day ends with a delicious dinner in the cabin.

Fall hunting for grouse with bird hunting dogs

Hunting season - 25th August – 31st October.

With an authorized guide, to hunting areas located near Abisko.

On the days when we hunt, we will find ourselves on wonderful wilderness terrain. We will wade over crystal clear mountain streams and go through mountain tundra with large shrubs. This is where the grouse thrive best!

At the end of the day we return to the base camp for a wonderful dinner. When it is time to rest for the night, we do so in large Laplander tents.


Winter hunting for grouse

Hunting season: January 1 – March 15.

Together with our authorized guide to miles of hunting areas around Abisko. We hunt the ptarmigan on foot (sturdy, comfortable boots are a must). The mountain area offers an exciting hunting environment and excellent access to birds. When we return to the cabin, we relax over a delicious dinner.
